Our Services

Preventive Cardiology

Our preventive cardiology program offers services to our patients who are at a high risk of developing cardiovascular disease. We evaluate our patients for their risk and become partners in their health management by implementing programs to reduce risk factors and prevent cardiovascular disease.

Cardiac Imaging

Sun State Cardiology offers the full range of standard cardiac imaging procedures performed at the highest quality, as well as more sophisticated imaging tests using nuclear medicine and other advanced techniques including cardiac MRI and coronary CT angio through our affiliated facilities.

Coronary Interventions

Our interventional cardiologists perform from simple coronary angioplasy to complex coronary stenting procedures including chronic total occlusions by using catheters to get inside blood vessels to repair damaged vessels, often avoiding need for surgery.

Peripheral Interventions

Pripheral Vascular Disease or Peripheral Artery Disease, is caused by the same atherosclerotic plaque that causes coronary artery disease. Our interventional cardiologists are highly skilled and trained in minimally invasive catheter-based treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Structural Heart Disease

Our highly trained interventional cardiologists, working with cardiac surgeons and vascular surgeons offer the latest medical therapies, nonsurgical procedures and surgical solutions, including minimally invasive techniques for complex heart conditions.

Sun State Cardiology was established by Dr. Jagwinder S. Sraow in 1984 and is now considered the oldest running practice in Chandler/Gilbert area. It has been serving the east valley community since. The company has been providing all cardiac related services including preventive and diagnostic services and has been treating patients with all heart conditions. Building Intensive Care Unit & Cath Lab

Dr. Jagwinder Sraow was the third cardiologist in the city of Chandler/Gilbert to join two other cardiologists before him who helped establish State-of-the Art 12-bed Intensive Care unit at the then Chandler Regional Hospital in 1984, now Chandler Reginal Medical Center. He became the first Chairman of the Cardiovascular Services at that time. He was the main force behind to start the mobile cath lab for the hospital during his tenure.

Building Structural Heart Disease Program

Later in 2015, Dr. Dan Sraow worked with the administration at Chandler Regional Medical Center to establish the Structural Heart Disease program, that is regareded as one of the top most program not only in the State of Arizona but within the CommonSpirit Health System performing over 500 cases at the end of 2022. Dr. Dan Sraow has been the director of Structural Heart Program since its inception.

Chandler Surgical Center

Chandler Surgical Center is a modern, free-standing, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center that is located just accross Chandler Regional Medical Center providing quality care outside of the hospital setting, allowing our Cardiologists to offer many out-patient surgical procedures including cardiac cathterization, angioplasty and conary stents, peripheral angiography and interventions, pacemaker and defibrillator insertion, loop recorder insertion and removal.
